My name is Zara Monroe, and I work for the devil.
Not the pitchfork kind the Armani-suit, ice-veined, "I-own-your-soul-before-you-even-signed-the-contract" kind.
His name? Damien Blackwood youngest CEO in the country, built an empire out of sheer control and cruelty. He doesn't just run the company; he rules it like a kingdom, and everyone else is disposable.
Everyone except me.
Lucky me.
I was stupid enough to think this job would look good on my résumé. Instead, I'm stuck serving coffee to a man who could freeze fire with a look and somehow still make your pulse skip while he does it.
He gives orders like commandments, never smiles, and looks at me like he's one breath away from either firing me... or doing something much worse.
