"Some performances aren't rehearsed - they're felt."

Under the lights, everything looks perfect.
Every smile, every movement, every note - practiced until even the mistakes seem intentional.
To the world, Felix and Hyunjin are flawless - brothers in rhythm, two sides of a performance that fans have worshipped for years.
But behind the laughter and carefully posed photos lies something unscripted. Something that's been quietly burning through every shared glance and every late-night rehearsal.

Felix, the gentle voice of the group, carries secrets in his heart that even the spotlight can't reach. He's built his image on warmth - the kind of smile that heals, the kind of charm that feels safe. But when he's chosen to partner with Min Jee, a striking and sincere model, for a high-profile campaign, the boundaries between authenticity and illusion begin to blur.

Hyunjin, the artist who paints emotions into every movement, watches from the shadows. He knows Felix better than anyone - the habits, the silences, the unspoken fears. Yet lately, every time Felix's laughter echoes through the room, it feels like a song meant for someone else.

Theirs is a story of unspoken longing - of touches that linger too long, words that hover on the edge of confession, and hearts performing a duet the world isn't ready to hear. Between fame and feeling, between what's rehearsed and what's real, they must decide whether love is something to hide or something to finally be seen.

Because sometimes, the most beautiful performances are the ones that break the script.

𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄 | 𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧 | ; a repeated or additional performance of an item at the end of a concert, as called for by an audience. - they say the stage brings people together, but for me it only brought him. hwang hyunjin, the golden boy of k-pop. perfect smile, perfect dance lines, perfect everything. and apparently my worst nightmare. it all started with a single look, a stupid camera angle that made it seem like i rolled my eyes during his award speech. overnight, i became the girl who disrespected hyunjin. the internets favourite villain. now, thanks to some cruel twist of fate, or maybe my company's idea of punishment, i'm stuck working with him on a collaboration stage. weeks of rehearsals, late nights, shared studios, and that same infuriating smirk that makes my heart race for the wrong reasons. he hates me, i can tell. but what's worse is i'm not sure i hate him anymore. because sometimes, when the cameras stop rolling and the lights fade, i catch glimpses of someone real behind the fame. someone i wasn't supposed to fall for. this wasn't supposed to happen. not between rivals. not between idols. and definitely not between me and hwang hyunjin. currently writing + editing ✔️ thank you so much! all of your support has lead to some of these amazing ranks: - #1 in idols, 12/06/25 - #1 in hyunjinfanfic, 11/16/2025 - #1 in hyunjin, 12/09/25

Their smiles once lit up every stage. They laughed until their ribs hurt, danced until their lungs burned, and leaned on each other like it was the most natural thing in the world. To everyone else, they were perfect - a duo stitched together by fate, harmony in motion, laughter that echoed louder than any cheer. But fame has a cruel way of rewriting innocence. The cheers that once lifted them began to sound different. Sharper. Heavier. "Just admit you love him already." "Get him out of the group." "HyunIn is real." Words became knives, flying faster than they could dodge. Suddenly, every touch was too much. Every look too long. Even silence had meaning now. What used to be comfort began to feel dangerous - the way his shoulder felt under a hand, the way their eyes met in the middle of a joke. It wasn't that they changed. It was that the world decided they had. And when enough people say something long enough, you start to wonder if they might be right. Was it friendship? Affection? Or were they just becoming what everyone already believed them to be? --- Written by me and my very good frnd @Veronicaiscaught #1 in hyunlix - 23 august 2025
