In your satchel laid a card; the role of a 𝘾𝙊𝙍𝙊𝙉𝙀𝙍, giving you the ability to confirm or deny a villager's innocence. You had a background in undertaking due to your previous occupation as a mortician, but to use your skills like this? It's barbaric.
