Abbie's plans for his third and final year at High School were pretty simple. Get good grades (so that he doesn't become teacher food), get enough sleep so that he doesn't look like a zombie half the time (harder than it looks, by the way), hang out with his friend group (with is consisted of like, five people if you include himself), buy the games he wants (part-time jobs, here he comes!) and maybe, just maybe, finally ask out his crush.
Unfortunately for him, all of these plans were derailed when a certain cosmic entity decided that the best way to deal with boredom was to give Abbie the Chaos Gacha - a system that embodies the infinite chaos of the endless and infinite multiverse condensed and refined into the form of a Gacha - and amp up the difficulty of our favorite Apple Boy's life to Nightmare mode.
...well, at least he gets cool powers, right?

Instead, she found herself caught between friendship, first love, and the kind of supernatural chaos only a Nevermore teen could handle. Somewhere between midnight milkshakes, mixtapes, and sneaking into the library after curfew, Lorelei began to realize: growing up isn't about finding yourself-it's about owning your weirdness, heartbreak and all. This was the year before everything went wrong in the Tower. But for now? It was just Lorelei and her friends against Nevermore. Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

17-year-old Abigail Wells, known as Abbie, is shipped off to live with her estranged mother. The same woman whom Abbie has not seen since she was about three years old. Abbie's dad, Keith, is not a good guy and hates her passionately. Her home life was not good growing up yet he was the only parent she has ever known. Her only constant. Adeline Cobwell, Abbie's mother, lives in a small town, Reef's Paradise located in Florida. As the name indicates, the town is sort of a paradise for people residing there. Hidden alcove of a town, separated from busy cities surrounding it. The local saying, 'once you are here, you never want to leave,' is something all townsfolk here adhere to. Just like any other small town, Reef's Paradise has its own stories and secrets. Most of such stories are known to all the residents but unknown to the newcomer, Abbie. One such intriguing story is about the Light House, located at the far end of the town on a deserted beach. There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long. When anger is the only emotion Abbie's known to express for so long things are bound to explode. This is my first story here. Comments and feedback are appreciated.
