Meet Canto: the newest addition to the circus who hates his life and wants to leave.
Despite coping over the fact that he'll be trapped forever inside a corrupted video game, the people he's stuck with aren't that bad - except for the ringmasters. Introducing themselves as Pomni and Jax, they send him and the rest of the cast on adventures almost every day, each one more horrific than the last.
But it isn't the adventures that concern him. His ringmasters carry secrets, dark and damning ones. Whatever is weighing Pomni and Jax down, Canto can tell it will eventually break them. And the circus may not be able to handle it when they do.
TRIGGER WARNING: This story will not be rated mature, but it does contain elements such as drinking, censored swearing, horror elements, and violence. I would classify this as a horror, but the story will not go beyond the maturity rating for The Amazing Digital Circus series, so there will be no explicit content. But if you like angsty alternate universes, you should read this.

Jax hated this voice the most, because deep down he knew he didn't deserve it. He didn't deserve the kindness. These voices never shut up. They mock him. Chat with him. Comfort him. Worst of all, they have an ability to take control of Jax's body. Crumbling all of Jax's hard work in keeping up the whole act. So Jax laughs louder. Smirks harder.
