Yamato and Kakeru are childhood best friends, Yamato being the handsome and smart high schooler, meanwhile, Kakeru is not on the smart side.
One day, Kakeru asked Yamato to come with him to a mixer. While they were there, Yamato got asked what's his type and said "A childhood friend?" Kakeru overheard that, and got confused. He was Yamatos childhood friend, so does that mean.. he's Yamatos type?
Kakeru was very confused throughout the rest of the mixer, confused about Yamatos words and his own feelings.
