Célestine grew up in a palace - the daughter of Marie, lady's maid to the Queen. As children, she and Prince Adam were inseparable. But when the Queen died, the King's cruelty tore everything apart. Marie and her daughter were banished, and Adam was left to be raised by a father who taught him nothing but pride and indifference.
Years later, Célestine and her mother have made a quiet life in Villeneuve, living with Maurice and his daughter Belle - Célestine's cousin. The two girls grew up as sisters, dreaming of something beyond their provincial lives.
When Marie passes away and Maurice disappears on a journey to the market, Célestine sets out to find him - despite Belle's protests. Her search leads her to a forgotten castle shrouded in snow and silence... a place that feels hauntingly familiar.
Inside, she finds a Beast - and a curse that has trapped not just him, but everyone she once knew. Though she cannot quite remember why the place tugs at her heart, one thing is certain: fate has brought her back to where it all began.
