After their town is destroyed by kaiju, childhood friends Yozora Khaos, Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro both vow to become members of the Japanese Anti-Kaiju Defense Force (JAKDF) to fight kaiju together. Mina has since become the captain of the JAKDF's 3rd Division and is valued due to an ability that makes her shots highly destructive. Kafka has failed the examination numerous times and works in a clean-up crew that disposes of kaiju remains after battle. While Yozora...Let's just say he was given a different path than his childhood friends...A fate that will lead him to become...The Wailing Perversion. Inception
After the death of all her family except for one younger brother, Lena Ichikawa sacrifices having a normal life to find the secret to the birth of kaiju: unnatural monsters that defy the natural laws of evolution. She knows they come from the trenches in the ocean where tectonic plates collide, but before she is allowed to the forefront of kaiju research, she must first gain experience working at a lab in the Defense Force. That means assisting military operations and avoiding a flirty vice captain who seems to think she's there to amuse him. It doesn't help that her precious baby brother keeps trying to get himself killed fighting kaiju. Kaijus: Kaiju are monstrous creatures that come in different sizes and shapes. All of them have different features, some more humanoid than others. Every kaiju possess a Core (核, Kaku), which is their vital organ and weakness, inside their body, and since every kaiju comes in a different type the location of the core changes accordingly. There are Different Kaijus that appeared from is beginning during the Meireki Era.... The Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force (日本防衛隊, Nihon Bōei-tai) or simply known as Defense Force, is a military organization specialized in taking down and neutralizing kaiju. It has various bases all around Japan. The Defense Force is governed by the Neutralization Bureau. There was once a Kaiju so powerful that it Dwarfs all Kaijus of the past to present during its time. Kaiju No. 0: Godzilla Fortitude: 15 (Maximum known level) Alias: "The King of Kaiju," "The God of Destruction" First Appearance: 1954 Classification: Daikaiju (Primordial-Class) History In 1954, long before modern Kaiju Defense Force technology and weaponry, Japan faced its greatest nightmare: a colossal beast rising from the depths of the ocean, later codenamed Kaiju No. 0. Towering over cities, radiating nuclear energy, and shrugging off conventional weapons, Godzilla was unlike anything the world had ever seen. Every strike from artillery, air force, and experimental weaponry failed. Its presence was so overwhelming that it was considered the origin of all daikaiju classification systems. In desperation, humanity created the Oxygen Destroyer, a weapon so catastrophic that it not only annihilated Kaiju No. 0, but also devastated parts of Japan - effectively the "third nuclear strike" on the nation. This weapon was deemed too cruel and dangerous, locked away as forbidden technology.

The fact that his communication got cut off and being isolated from the rest of the officers put him on the spot, as his only option is to survive the attack. However, a mysterious person appeared to save the day with an unfamiliar uniform and weapon that takes out the Kaiju single-handedly. After spotting Hoshina who is watching her from afar, she walks up to him to check his condition. When Hoshina is about to show his gratitude to her, she simply replied.
