Juniper glanced at Topher as he practiced in her room, his tongue poking the left side of his cheek as he concentrated. A few strands of hair fell into his eyes, and he didn't bother to move them-too focused on the chords beneath his fingers. The faint hum of the guitar filled the small space, warm and familiar. She hadn't meant to stare, but there was something about him like this - unfiltered, completely lost in what he loved - that made her chest tighten. Without looking up, Topher murmured, "You're staring again." Juniper froze, quickly looking away. "I'm not." He smiled slightly, still strumming. "You are." She huffed, crossing her arms. "Well... maybe you're just distracting." Topher's fingers stilled for half a second, a quiet laugh escaping past his lips. "Guess we're both in trouble then."

[NEEDS PROOFREADING]The guitar was a beautiful background but the electricity between them was palpable. Each time their bodies grazed each other as they strummed the guitar. Dominic's mind filled with thoughts of what it would be like to be closer to her, to feel her skin against his. Fuck. He quickly ended the song on a chord and moved her a bit away, putting the guitar away, he cleared his throat. "You're a natural." He said with an awkward smile, hoping she hadn't noticed, Alina was a little confused but moved a little bit, still keeping their knees touching. "Dominic?" He turns to look at her, an intensity in his stare that she had never seen before. It sent butterflies fluttering in her stomach. "Can I kiss you?" The Songbird and her Guitarist.
