The 2012 California Governor's race is just beginning, and Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom has officially entered the race. On paper, he has everything a candidate needs-experience, ambition, and name recognition. But according to his campaign team, there's one problem holding him back: his image. Divorced, single, and completely consumed by work, Gavin is seen by many voters as cold, distant, and impossible to trust after his messy divorce. Basically everyone thinks he's just some grumpy cold vampire deemed man with no heart, untrustworthy, has no life kind of guy. While its half true desperate to boost his appeal, his campaign manager, Tony Goldwyn, proposes an idea Gavin is guaranteed to hate: A fake relationship. The challenge is finding the right person. Someone respected, intelligent, trustworthy, and already beloved across California, crossing countless names off the list, only one candidate remains. Kamala Harris. California's Attorney General is also running for reelection. Like Gavin, she's divorced, single, and married to her career. She's feared, respected, and wildly popular with voters. They're political rivals on the same side, constantly clashing in public. But if they worked together? Most of California believes they'd be unstoppable.
