Killer had to have heard him wrong. He MUST have misheard Dust. Only... he didn't. And that thought filled him with more panic than an unexpected RESET, because... how else was he supposed to handle the casual comment about his brother dusting himself?

OR

Killer grossly misunderstands something Dust says, and a series of events happen to feed his worries. Really, Dust should've thought about his wording a little more.
