We know very well how Scott Pilgrim's story went by this point: a lovesick mess who, through seven evil exes and plenty of mistakes, eventually grew into someone more mature. Someone ready to love and be loved.
In another version of this story, Ramona Flowers takes the spotlight. With Scott missing, presumed dead, she's forced to confront the very pasts she ran from. Along the way, she gains insight into herself, reconciles with her history, and ultimately accepts who she is and will be.
Both paths end in maturity and self-acceptance.
But this time, things are different.
Enter Cifer Powers.
Stepping in as a new face in the story. A fresh perspective, tangled with familiar lives. Let's see how one whose experience is entirely different from our usual cast live out his life among them.
