The story takes place in New York, 1931, in the middle of the Great Depression. Rose Dawson (now in her late 30s) lives quietly under a new identity. The tragedy of the Titanic and losing Jack has haunted her dreams for years - but lately, something new has begun to stir: visions of the ocean, whispers in the night, and strange occurrences near the harbor.
Meanwhile, far out at sea, a supernatural storm awakens something beneath the Atlantic - the soul of Jack Dawson, preserved and cursed by the icy waters. He rises not as a mindless zombie, but as something between life and death, driven by a promise he made to Rose.
