1977 Hollywood, California. Katherine Price and Vivian Moss are the talk of the town. They solved a cold case that had vexed both the LAPD and the LA County Sheriffs for two years, with the help of a junior deputy. Hollywood columnist Jimmy Scarlett brought it all to life in his LA Times series about lady detectives who busted a predatory prostitution and porn operation run by violent, vile men. The accolades are nice for a few days. The phone is ringing off the hook. It took months, yet Kat and Viv did not earn a nickel bringing Crystal Hoffman home. It's time the Sunset Private Eyes find a paying client before Kat runs out of money. This is my third detective novel, all connected, a direct sequel to Sunset '77, seamlessly following their first big case. Some '77 characters will reappear in minor roles. I need more seventies LA crime and cop characters in my life, so I wrote a few.
