This is my third detective novel, all connected, a direct sequel to Sunset '77, seamlessly following their first big case. Some '77 characters will reappear in minor roles. I need more seventies LA crime and cop characters in my life, so I wrote a few.

Keilana worked hard every day, but Gazelle was always finding fault. It was tiring and upsetting. Over time, Keilana noticed that Gazelle wasn't always mean. Sometimes, she showed kindness, but these moments only made things more mysterious. Keilana's job was becoming much more complicated and dangerous than she ever imagined. The story of these two women from very different worlds was turning into a suspenseful tale of secrets and hidden truths that could ruin Keilana's life.
