12-year-old Isabelle Parke recently just moved to Hawkins, Indiana, all the way from Nevada with her older brother after her mother passed away and her dad got a new job. He's working at a laboratory with his biomedical science degree called Hawkins Lab. When she goes to school and meets a group of four boys who have similar interests as her, they hit it off right away. Especially with Will Byers. They have lots in common, they're shy, love dungeons and dragons way more than the other three boys, and they both have a single parent. Not to mention, they both have older brothers who are in the same grade at Hawkins High School. This timeline follows all the way until season five so they will grow up together and help each other through both of their struggles with their past lives.
