I'll write for a little bit, and if people like it I'll follow all the way through but this is an adaptation of me and my sister's playthrough of Stardew Valley. There will be twists, turns, drama, and all sorts of crazy. We are not finished with the game yet, and I do not mind writing this all the way to the end so there will be plenty of content if that's what you're looking for!
Two sisters, Kuruii and Sakiama, arrive in Stardew Valley for the first time since they were little. In an attempt to escape corporate life, they decided to follow in their grandparents footsteps as a farmer. Faced with a new life, the two will need to navigate everything from A-Z. And Kuruii is faced with the biggest task of all. Finding the meaning of life.

Shane feels stuck in his life; like he can't and doesn't deserve better. During one shitty night, after downing one too many beers, he sees something. Or at least swears he does. But at least he gets a "cool" boyfriend and best friend out of it? - I don't own Stardew Valley or it's characters, just my interpretations / own writing. The Deer-man doesn't really do much, it's very Shane centric. Deer-man is legit somewhat of a crypid that hardly speaks english, or whatever. The farmer is a different person with an unspecified name, that uses she/her pronouns. Platonic relationship with Shane! !!! (I didn't realize it wasn't 'confirmed' that Shane was the brother of Jas' mother, before she passed away. I remember learning it at some point from somewhere... Whoops. Though I think he's still her uncle in some capacity.) The Dwarvish was created using a generator found online! The translating process (Dwarvish to English) is still buggy, but there's no parts where needed information written in this fan-fiction is only said in Dwarvish. a Stardew Valley fan fiction: The Proper Care and Feeding of Souls
So, I wrote this for myself, not expecting anyone else would ever read it. I needed it, so I wrote it. When I was done I figured maybe someone else might need it, too, so here it is. The beginning might feel heavy or boring, but please hang in there because just like life - the good stuff comes out of the dark stuff. Grace vowed to herself that she would rid herself of the broken, predictable life she had somehow fallen into and in its place, she would create a new life, one that truly fed her wanting soul. Reeling from an unthinkable experience, Grace moves to Stardew Valley, intent on recapturing the magic of her childhood. Instead, she finds herself on a ramshackle farm, void of childhood memories. Slowly, she discovers the true magic of the valley in the people who live there. You, a writer visiting Tokyo was plunged to the Borderlands together with the others. After the destruction of the Beach you need to extend your visa, and are now nervously waiting for your next game to begin. "I noticed a familiar silhouette leaning against the wall across the room. A short figure, whisks of ash colored hair sticking out from under the big hood hiding his face, but ironically making him easier to recognize. I sighed as memories from happier times at the Beach flashed through my mind, but was swiftly brought back to the present as the big overhead TV screen came to life, announcing the beginning of the game." "Difficulty; Jack of hearts." The story starts at the Jack of Hearts game in season 2, and follows the series until the group is back in the real world. I mostly follow canon, but two games are rewritten so we can take part in them (Jack of Diamonds and King of Hearts). It's written in 1st person, with a nameless female character, with a backstory and some physical traits described. There will be canon-typical violence, some gore, and eventually, sex. But when she meets his dark haired, moody and pessimistic friend Sebastian, who is the complete opposite of Sam, she becomes enthralled with him, wanting to crack through his tough exterior to see what lies beneath. You moved to Stardew valley to get away from your boring job in Zuzu city. You didn't plan on meeting someone special there, until you met him. :) Random side notes: I'm not really good at writing fanfics (especially shipping ones), Or heck. Just writing in general. since I don't write stories that often. And this is my first time writing a fanfic about Stardew valley. (Woo!) Anyway... The "Reader" character is super awkward, and has anxiety, because why the heck not? This is my fanfic. I'll write it how I want. xD Some of these chapters aren't that long, because I'm lazy, and others are really long because IDK where to end them! :D There are a few headcanons sprinkled in here and there.
