After losing her father and leaving London behind, Isabelle Rivers wants nothing more than a quiet life and a set of drums to drown out the noise in her head. When her childhood friend Ivan invites her to fill in for Kitty Section's drummer, Isabelle, also known as Izzy, finds herself swept into Paris's underground music scene-and face-to-face with Luka Couffaine, the band's soulful guitarist nursing a heartbreak of his own.
As melodies mix with memories, Izzy discovers that healing doesn't always come from silence, but from finding someone who understands your rhythm. In a city alive with sound, two musicians-each carrying their own scars-learn that even broken chords can make something beautiful.
