Chakram Reborn: Aftermath of the Pheonix by MindySchwigel

Despite Xena and Gabrielle's efforts to stop Ares and shut down the Phoenix of the Ancient Gods, Ares beloved fallen sister, Athena, Goddess of Warfare and Wisdom has risen. Ares fills her in on what has been happening since she's been gone a couple millennials. He also tells Athena about how Xena and Gabrielle are reborn again as their decendants. Athena and Ares decide to slowly let Xena and Gabrielle know that she is back. Meanwhile sides are taken as Gabrielle's family fight over what was revealed on tv and the Amazons come face to face with Xena and Gabrielle, pledging their allegence to them. At the hospital, Police Chief Cortez life hangs in the balance as not only part of her liver is damaged from the arrow that entered her abdomen, but she needs a blood transfusion also. Feeling awful about what had happened, Kira steps up and decides to be the donor, despite Xena's concern for her. And after Lester sustains a hit to the shoulder and went into shock, he wakes up a little different, shocking Gabrielle and Xena. The media starts to hound Xena and Gabrielle for interviews, Aphrodite figures things out and confronts Athena, a battle happens, and Ares opens up a massive can of worms at the end!!

After Xena's death, Gabrielle is devastated, and she wanders around being a well known story-teller/bard. When a wise old man called Erastus befriends her, he gives Gabrielle a marvelous idea: to write down and tell people stories she never told before. Untold adventures with Xena. And so she does. HOWEVER, as she goes on telling the stories, a bigger plan starts to unfold... And Gabrielle realizes, with the help of some friends, that... Xena could be brought back to life.

Xena and Gabrielle are contacted by Agent Shaw to help her, and a new FBI agent solve a murder case about a killer who is wreaking havoc in a small town. When they arrive in Casa Mountains, California, they reunite with Agent Shaw and meet Sheriff Daniels, who fills them in on the female killer. To their surprise, when they see a picture of the killer, they are shocked to realize that she looks the one person they'd never thought they see again, Callisto. And to make things even more shocking, the new FBI agent, Liz Panos, is a dead ringer for their daughter, Eve. Can Xena, Gabrielle, Agent Shaw, and Agent Panos track down this woman claiming to be Callisto before she kills again? And can Xena and Gabrielle keep their feelings about Agent Panos in check? And with Ares involved, you know something is not right with this picture!
