In the third year of her reign, young Queen Rovasurinn Yale of the Temirian Shore ventures to the quiet city of Siran Nor, seeking a family heirloom-a masterwork of armor crafted for her blooming frame. The journey, meant to be swift and ceremonial, turns to peril when her escorts are slain and she falls captive to Daggerbeard, a political rival whose greed has soured into cruelty and revenge. Deep in the catacombs beneath the ruined city, Rovasurinn waits for a chance that may never come.

Then the earth itself revolts. The catacombs crack, the stone gives way, and Rovasurinn plunges into the silent underworld below. In the black hush of the earth, she discovers sacramental steel-the sword Moonstorm - its power unfaded by the ages. Taking it up, the air trembles, and power old as creation flares in her veins.

What follows is the reckoning of Daggerbeard by the wrath of a new queen. When Rovasurinn returns home, her crown gleams brighter-but the light that guides her now comes from a weapon that may yet demand its due.

"Moonstorm" takes place in the lush World of Elsuon and is part of the House of Yale adventures known as "Savage Errands."

"Um, excuse me, would you care to dance with me on the dance floor?" A low but not threatening voice had entered my head. I turned to my side to see the same blue eyed guy that had been staring at me before. I slowly pointed to myself in a daze and asked him, just in case it was a misunderstanding, "Are you talking to me?" "Of course, there is no other woman than you," He answered simply, releasing a small grin at my dumbfounded self. - Estelle Abbott is the first black princess in the Abbott royal family. Queen Julia, the current ruler of the family, adopted Fiona from Zedenella and raised her as her own daughter. Fiona eventually gave birth to Estelle, and she was welcomed into the Abbott family with open arms. Estelle is now a proud heiress to the Abbott throne, and is a symbol of the family's commitment to inclusivity and diversity. Despite her adoptive family's love and support, Estelle still faced significant racism from people outside the Abbott family. People would try to shout slurs at her or refuse to serve her in stores. Estelle found the strength to persevere and found the love she needed in a supportive partner. Eventually she was elevated to the position of Princess, a title she never asked for but now proudly carries as a symbol of the Abbott family's commitment to inclusivity and diversity. . . .
