"Aegon and I are not children quarreling over toys, we are rivals for a crown! Or do you deny your ambition to see me replaced?" Alicent's expression twisted with contempt. "You are beneath me." Rhaenyra gave a bitter laugh. "How exhausting it must be, hiding behind a veil of virtue. But now, they see you for what you are. And they will see Aegon as he is: second. Always." The room trembled as King Viserys slammed his hand against the table.
