This is a story about a romance between Newt and Esme (original character by me). This is The Maze Runner, a story that changes the plot a little and adds a new character.
Esme wakes up in a box. She has a companion with her, Teresa. She doesn't remember anything, not even her own name. The Bow brings them to a plains area, and they are surrounded by boys. Esme automatically thinks the worse, and protects Teresa from them. One boy in particular stands out to her. He is blonde, lean, and tall. His accent is thick and charming. This guy's name is Newt. He seems protective of Esme, for some odd reason. And Esme is drawn to him.
Strange occurrences begin to happen in The Maze.

Survive the Maze (First part of Run or Die)
Sara's purpose in life have never been clearer. Destiny tends to change without notice. Whipping life into a chaotic spiral and destroying peace and hope. Sometimes the only escape is to run and never look back. Like all the others, Sara is waking up in a box, the only thing she remember is her name, not where she is from or why she is here. She arrived at a place called the Glade, there lays in the middle of a maze. She finds out that she is the only girl in the Glade, she quickly fell in love with one of the Gladers name Newt. She finds out that she had been training to fight since she was a child. Because she is so good at fighting, she get the job as a runner and she is trying to find a way out of the maze. But every time she is in the maze, she needs to be fast, because the doors to the maze is closing at dark and they first open the next morning and she have heard that no one has survive a night in the maze, because some creatures live in the maze and they are only coming out when it is dark. After months in the Glade, and after watching many of her friends die in front of her, Sara is about to lose hope, but then a boy name Thomas come up from the box, and together with Minho they are trying to find a way out of the maze, but one of the boys in the Glade don't like they are trying to find a way out. Will Sara and her friends find a way out of the maze or will they die trying? ~Who will not survive the maze? Read to find... Hi I wrote this fanfic first for myself but I thought why not share it on wattpad for those who want to read it as well? Basically it's a Newt fanfiction set in the Maze Runner Movie Franchise. In this fanfic, Newt and Cara are already in a relationship but their situation threatens to pull them apart. Will their love stand the trials brought about by a dying world? Short Summary Newt, Cara, and the rest of the group are rescued from the maze. Cara is given her memories back right before her, Newt and the group escape the WICKED facility. Her loyalty to her friends wavers but she soon realizes that she no longer wants to work for WICKED despite Teresa trying to convince her otherwise. They try to escape the grasp of WICKED as they make their way through the Scorch in search of the Right Arm. Cara struggles with personal issues and traumas that have been brought back along with her memories. Newt tries to hold her hand every step of the way.
