Shawn Carter is Langston Ridge's star cornerback-fast, flashy, and always talking trash. He's got dreadlocks, swagger, and a highlight reel that's gone viral more than once. He also moonlights as a wide receiver when the team needs a spark.
Then comes Kalif Brooks-a transfer linebacker with a quiet fire, a chip on his shoulder, and locs that hang just below his helmet. He's not here to make friends. He's here to dominate.
From the first practice, they clash. Shawn thinks Kalif's too serious. Kalif thinks Shawn plays too much. But when Coach pairs them up to co-lead the defense and assigns them to the same film study group, the tension starts to shift.
