"No way, he's long gone." I laughed in her face without even looking. It wasn't until I saw him myself. Everything came flooding back. But how could it when he was the one who let me walk away?
I was able to avoid him all night, until I couldn't. I was searching through the crowd hoping to avoid him, until we made eye contact. I froze. What should I even do?
