In 1961, just months after the inauguration of President Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., a troublemaking "young man" from Southern California, his best and only friend since childhood, and three other outcasts were conscripted into the US military to fight in America's war in Cuba as punishment for crimes they definitely committed.
