Kinley had always been a little shy when she met new people, but somehow she and Abel had clicked from the start. They'd met through mutual friends, and while she kept her distance at first, his steady, grounded presence made it easy to let him in. Over the years, their friendship had grown into something more complicated, teasing, flirty, even a little reckless at times, with messages that hinted at more than either of them would ever act on... yet. Kinley had watched him come and go through countless girls, and while she would never admit it outright, it stung more than she wanted to admit. Still, she had been the one constant in his life for the last two years, the person he always came back to. Abel kept her out of the spotlight, and while that had been a blessing, no public eyes, no judgment, it had its downsides too. She knew it would become a problem eventually, if they ever crossed the line from friends to something more, but that would never happen.. right?

Though this story takes place in 2025, its based on in another time. The world I've written pulls heavily from Abel's early era (2011 through 2016) when the music was raw, unfiltered, and dangerously intimate. The atmosphere, the energy, the chaos, it all comes from those years, even if the timeline is not exact.
