After surviving a horrific death, Sonic feels stressed. He doesn't tell his friends what he went through, not wanting to worry them. Shadow, on the other hand, is still trying to process what had happened. He still works at G.U.N. and is friends with Rouge, but something feels off. Ever since Sonic's close death, he's had a weird feeling towards him, trying to figure it out. Will Sonic and Shadow live with fear of losing each other, not being able to find the help they need? Or will they receive a connection that will bring both rivals closer than ever?
