Once upon a time, two neighboring kingdoms, decided to end years of war and bloodshed by signing peace, beginning an era of truces, alliances, and fragile cooperation. Although the agreement brought stability and prosperity to both lands, it could not erase the deep-rooted rivalry that still lingered within the royal families.
As centuries passed, those fake greetings and forced meetings remained until the current generation. From the few moments they had met, the princes, Light and Charn, personalities clashed violently. Charn's intense and provoking nature always challenged Light's strong sense of control, turning every encounter into a silly battle of words and insults.
Everything changed after a terrible tragedy struck Emmerland: the sudden death of its king. With an unknown murderer freely walking around across the kingdom, the royal family was forced to abandon their palace for their own safety. Seeking temporary refuge under the alliance, they were invited into moving into Goldenland's palace. Forced to live under the same roof, surrounded by suspicion, grief, and unresolved resentment, Light found his hatred for the emerald prince growing stronger with every passing day.
