He was meant to inherit the heavens.
The son of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King of chaos and freedom, and Chang'e, the Moon Goddess of grace and eternity - Tai was born of light and shadow, day and night.
But fate had other plans.
When a celestial rift tears through the heavens, Tai is hurled into a strange new world - Teyvat, a land ruled by gods, visions, and elemental power. Stripped of most of his divine strength, he must fight, explore, and adapt to survive among mortals who see him as both savior and threat.
With each region he travels - from the winds of Mondstadt to the stones of Liyue - Tai discovers fragments of his power, his destiny, and the truth behind why he was banished. Along the way, he forms powerful bonds with warriors, scholars, and adventurers... and finds love in places he never expected.
As the light of the Sun and the glow of the Moon converge within him, Tai must decide -
Will he return to the heavens that cast him out...
or stay and protect the world that taught him to be human?
