What if your spirit could escape your body... and take control of any animal on Earth? Hardy Thompson just wanted one last summer of freedom before the pressures of football camp and his overbearing, Hall-of-Fame father came crashing in. So, he formed a club with his best friends-Johnny, Jack, and Alex-just for laughs. But everything changes the day Johnny pulls out a mysterious Navajo Book of Life and dares them to try something called spirit jumping. Moments later, nothing is the same. Suddenly, they can do the impossible: project their spirits into animals, feel what they feel, see what they see... even control them. But this new power isn't just thrilling-it's dangerous. And the timing couldn't be worse. Alex is desperate to find his father, a man everyone else believes is dead. But the truth is far more terrifying. Lieutenant Colonel Gerald Diaz is alive-and being forced to complete a dark scientific experiment that threatens the balance between nature and evil itself. If he fails, his wife and son die. If he succeeds, the world may never recover. As Hardy and his friends are pulled deeper into a mystery far bigger than themselves, they'll have to decide: What are you willing to sacrifice when the fate of your family-and possibly the world-rests in your hands?
