Niamh starts a new chapter in her life after ending a eight year relationship. She packs up her few belongings and leaves Toronto, Canada behind. She finds herself in a small town on the west coast of Canada where she hopes to exist comfortably. For a while, she does. But it all goes to pieces when she develops a soft spot for the handsome butch woman who frequents the book store. This is a small-town romance story between two less than feminine women. Written by a queer person, for queer people. Undertones of classism, the prejudices that butch and androgynous women face within their own community, and the forbidden love between them within a traditional fem/butch world.
