🌸 Author's Note

When I first started writing The Jeweler's Daughter, I honestly just wanted to see what it would feel like to create my own little world - a story that could offer a bit of escape, a bit of joy, and maybe touch someone's heart along the way.

I never imagined that so many of you would read it, or that I would receive such kind messages, support, and love from all of you.
I'm truly grateful to everyone who's been with me on this journey. 💌

This new story marks a new chapter in my life - something fresh, mysterious, deeply emotional, and very close to my heart.
I hope it will captivate you just as much as the previous one did... or perhaps even more.

Thank you for being here.
This is only the beginning. 💫

Becky has always wanted to walk her own path. Her dream - to become a writer and live peacefully among the Galápagos Islands - is far from what her family expects of her.
But life takes an unexpected turn when fate brings her to one of Thailand's most influential advertising agencies - and to the mysterious woman who will change everything: Freen.

Freen isn't the kind of person who sits still and waits. She's drawn to faraway places, to the thrill of cameras and discovery. Yet, one night on a dark balcony, everything changes - a misunderstood kiss, an encounter shrouded in mystery - and for Becky, Freen becomes the enigmatic "Albatross", someone she both longs for and fears to get close to.

But behind their seemingly simple attraction lie deeper shadows: corporate intrigue, family pressure, and the ghosts of past misunderstandings will all test their hearts.
While Becky remains tied to her fiancé, Freen must hide her feelings - and both women realize that love is never simple when trust and jealousy pull them in different directions.

This story is filled with drama, humor, and unexpected turns - and one question that decides it all:
Can two young women find their way back to each other amid the chaos of love and do

PAUL I cheated on my fiancée. Sophie and I were building our future. In love, happy, peaceful. Then she found a lump in her breast and I made the worst choice: I numbed my fear by sleeping with someone else. My worst mistake and my biggest regret. Now I see Sophie around town with him. She's radiant and laughing with people who actually show up. I'm trying to learn how to be a man who does. If she lets me, I'll spend the rest of my life proving I can choose her when it's hardest. If she lets me... SOPHIE I thought the promise was in sickness and in health. But he buried his fear in someone else. On the same night, I walked into a bookstore and meet the gentle giant owner who invites me to his book club full of misfits. I'm laughing again, I smile more than I ever have, I heal my heart. My ex says he can learn to stay, but my bookstore owner keeps showing up like it's as easy as breathing. I don't know what the future holds; I don't know if I'll win this battle against cancer, but I do know I'm done wasting time on people that love only when it's easy. CALLUM She came in to Rivers & Rhodes Bookstore and asked for books with happy endings only. I gave her a recommendation, an invitation, and an offer of friendship. Now, this beautiful brave woman is completely under my skin. I'm not here to win a competition against him. I'm here because choosing someone, second by second, is the only way I understand love. The city hummed with life. Neon signs flickered over busy streets, the distant sound of laughter mixed with the rhythmic buzz of motorbikes weaving through traffic. The Chao Phraya River shimmered under the golden glow of streetlights, as boats gently bobbed along its restless currents. Standing at the edge of the water, Freen dug her hands deep into her jacket pockets, staring at the skyline. Somewhere behind her, the world carried on-street vendors calling out their final orders, tuk-tuks zipping past, couples walking hand-in-hand toward midnight cafés. But in her head? A quiet war raged on. She was losing Becky. Not literally, of course. Becky wasn't moving away. She wasn't disappearing into thin air. Yet, somehow, the reality felt worse. In two weeks,, Becky would be someone's wife. Someone else's comfort, someone else's safe place. And Freen, for the first time in her life, didn't know how to stop herself from feeling- Feeling what, exactly? Jealousy? Pain? Love? A familiar voice broke through the noise. "I knew I'd find you here." Freen turned. Becky.Standing there in her oversized hoodie and denim shorts, looking at Freen like she knew exactly what was going on. Like she had been waiting for her to admit it. They stood in silence for a moment, the city pulsing around them, neither willing to speak first. Until Becky, with quiet hesitation, asked- "If you could wish for one thing right now, what would it be?" Freen swallowed. Her chest ached, but she still managed a smile. "I wish we never had to part." And just like that, Becky knew. She knew everything. Original story © Crazedwriter123 (Story teller)

Rebecca "Becky" grew up between two worlds the quiet countryside of England and the vibrant traditions of Thailand. Half-Thai, half-English, she always felt like she belonged everywhere and nowhere at once. When the time came to choose her path, Becky followed her heart and decided to study in Thailand a choice that her parents initially resisted. But after much pleading and promise, they finally let her go, trusting their daughter's independence. Then came Bright, a charming, ambitious entrepreneur with dreams as big as hers. What started as friendship soon blossomed into love the kind that made her believe in forever. Together, they built a life, a company, and a name people admired. They became the perfect pair: beautiful, powerful, unstoppable. But perfection is fragile. As success grew, so did the cracks in their marriage. Power, jealousy, and the pressure of maintaining their empire began to poison what was once pure. Bright's warmth turned cold; his words, sharp. Becky found herself trapped in a gilded cage a life that looked perfect from the outside but was slowly breaking her inside. And when everything began to crumble - her marriage, her business, her sense of self - Becky had to face the hardest question of all: Who will save Becky? Or someone from Becky past will save her?
