Yes, Y/N's disability is a part of the plot, but it is not a plot convenience. It's not thrown in there for the sake of added tension or drama. She just happens to be disabled. It will obviously be involved in some ways, as Y/N's disability (a form of cerebral palsy) does impact her life. But it won't be something that the plot hinges on- does that make sense? The form of cerebral palsy Y/N has is the same one I personally have. So anything written here is written from personal experience.
