Aurora Whitney Hopper had a pretty perfect and normal life growing up. Until she moved to Hawkins and everything turned upside down. Her sister passed away, then her parents got divorced, her dad was a disaster, and she felt everything was her fault. She didn't protect her sister. She wasn't there for her. Then years later, her friends brother, Will Byers, goes missing and she gets tangled into more trouble.
Warning this book contains cursing words and blood/gore scenes.
A/N: Hi everyone, I hope you like this book. I write what I would like to read and the main character is based a little of me but you are welcome to change and read this story as if it were you. I am in college so I will post at least once a week. This is my first book here so I hope its good. I accept ideas and thoughts of any kind. One last thing, I don't own the Stranger Things plot or the characters, all credits to the Duffer Brother, but I do own anything that is added or changed to the plot and the OC.

Moving into the small town of Hawkins during her sophomore year of high school wasn't a treat, but she didn't let it ruin her spirits too much. In fact, she even made some new friends along the way. Granted, most of them were in middle school and were major nerds, but that didn't bother her. She even joined in on some of their DnD campaigns whenever they invited her. It was fun, that was until one of the kids, Will, went missing. Along the way to finding him, (Y/N) befriends some people from her own school, including the goody-two-shoes Nancy Wheeler, and her boyfriend, Steve "The Hair" Harrington. She never really understood why everyone was obsessed with Steve. Or was everyone obsessed with his hair? She never knew. He could be a real asshole sometimes, too. But for whatever reason, she finds herself becoming closer with him the more they hang out. Maybe the king himself wasn't all too bad. - I've rewritten this book as I didn't like the plot all too much! You can find it on my profile titled "Waiting For A Girl Like You".
