Lucifer's Bet
Natalie "Nat" Johnson is broke, exhausted, and still drags herself to church on Sundays.
By day she's a paper-pushing nobody with a handsy supervisor and a pile of bills she can't outrun. By night she slings drinks at Club Eden, watching other people throw away money she's pretty sure God forgot to send her.
Then a man in a black suit walks into the club, orders nothing, and tells her he's here for her.
He knows her name, her schedule, the color of her favorite spite hat at church-and the exact number in her overdrawn bank account. He calls himself Lucian Raventhorn, but as he says the older title fits better.
Lucifer offers her a bet:
One month living her regular life with one rule: no quitting. Not the office, not the club, not church, not her mother.
One month working as his personal assistant in Hell's version of upper management.
If she makes it through both months without breaking? Her debts vanish, her mother is protected, and she walks away free.
If she fails?
Eventually, her soul is his.
Nat has conditions, no touching her mama, no hurting her people, no messing with her mind, and no fine-print sex clauses, but the Devil has his own. And between neon lights, Sunday sermons, and late-night texts from the literal Prince of Darkness, the line between "spiritually loud church girl" and "Lucifer's favorite problem" starts to blur.
Lucifer's Bet is a slow-burn, deal-with-the-Devil romance featuring:
✦ a stubborn, sleep-deprived heroine with a weaponized church hat
✦ a morally grey Devil who runs Hell like a corporation
✦ contracts, conditions, and dangerously tender late-night texts
✦ found-family threads, dark humor, and eventual heat
