The curse of a choice

During the war, Draco is faced with a choice: either he joins the defenders of Hogwarts, risking that Voldemort will destroy everyone who stands in his way-including Hermione. Or he remains on the side of the Death Eaters, betraying his own beliefs... but in doing so, he diverts attention and saves Hermione's life. Draco chooses the second option. He saves her-but she never learns that he did. To her, he is nothing more than a cold coward who stood on the wrong side.
