The Moon Remembers: After the War by Ms_Dozza
19 parts Ongoing
"The moon remembers what he forgot. Where love was promised, even as memories faded. The river still flows, and the moon still watches us. It has become the silent keeper of everything his memories left behind: every vow, every touch, every whispered dream shared beneath its glow and beside the shimmering river. Promises made just for the two of us. Though he no longer remembers, the moon does. It holds the love he lost, the love I still carry." ----- Years after her husband's death, she still writes letters by moonlight, holding on to a love lost in war. Everyone says she's foolish for waiting. Until he returns... alive, but with no memory of her and a new life that doesn't include her. Now, she must choose: hold on to a love that's already gone, or let go of the only man she ever waited for. ----- Author's Claim: This is my first time publishing a story and I know I still need improvement. I'm not a professional writer, just someone with a heart full of memories, emotions, and a love that never found its ending. Every word I've written comes from a place of longing, loss, and the hope that maybe someone out there understands. I don't know where this story will go, or if it's enough... But I do know it's real. And if you're reading this, thank you because it means the story is no longer just mine. It's ours now. - From a first-time publisher who still believes in love, even the kind that hurts. Ouchhh P.S. still ongoing and editing some parts.

When the Stars Remembered

29 parts Complete

They say the stars used to sing. Not in words, but in pulses of light-glimmering songs that stitched the sky together like lullabies spun in gold. Each constellation was a memory, each flicker a feeling, each falling star a promise whispered across lifetimes. Back then, the night sky was alive. And so were the hearts that remembered it. But the stars are silent now. Their voices lost to the wind. Their names scattered across forgotten skies. Their light dimmed beneath centuries of silence. The world moved on. Kings fell. Empires crumbled. Lovers turned to dust. And the stars blinked out, one by one, until the heavens became nothing more than a quiet canvas-pretty, but empty. Or so they thought. In a lighthouse on the edge of the world, a girl watches the sea and feels something stir. She does not know why she wakes with stardust in her hair. She does not know why her dreams are made of fire and falling light. She does not know that she once burned brighter than the moons. Her name is Lyra. She has lived seventeen years in silence. But the stars have not forgotten her. One of them is already falling. A boy carved from light and memory. A soul who has searched through centuries to find her again. And when he lands, the sky will remember. And the stars will begin to sing.
