Since the night she became the sole survivor of the Midnight Massacre, a wide-spread mass murder caused by the illusive killer known as the Midnight Butcher, she's learned to pretend that it never happened. She can't be a victim if she doesn't pay attention to the past, right?

But when she stumbles across a crime scene and finds out that the Midnight Butcher has returned a year later, the delicate balance of her world shatters. The Butcher wants her--needs her to join the ranks of the dead, but not quite yet.

Subjected to terrors and a murderous stalker, Fallon must learn to navigate her life--and find a way to destroy the Midnight Butcher's in return.

Finding purpose in enacting justice for the other victims, Fallon begins investigating the murders with the help of her neighbor--the annoyingly cheery Vincent Hutton. Even if entangling herself with him might just put a target on his back, too.
