This is a short piece about love between humans and animals - a gender reminder that affection doesn't always have to come from people. Sometimes, the purest kind of love is found in the eyes of our pets - the ones who never judge, never leave, and never ask for anything more than our presence. "I'm Better Off With My Pets" speaks about finding comport in the loyalty of dogs and the quiet companionship of cats - how they heal wounds that words can't, and how their silent gestures can mean more than a thousand human promises. This story was written by me to show that love doesn't have to be complicated - sometimes, it just purrs beside you or wags its tail when you come home. - bytheodore💓
