We reached the big oak. There was sunlight peeking through the canopy of the tree casting beautiful shadows on the forest floor. Lina let go of my hand and climbed up the trunk like the little squirell she was. When she reached the third branch she sat, leaned back, and closed her eyes. She looked gorgeous; exactly how I imagined.
"Why did you come here last night though?" I call up to her.
She looks over the branch towards me and answers, "You know George? Well, he decided it would be hilarious to mock me for being an orphan. It still kills to think about how they could leave me like that."
I just stared at her sympathetically.
"Harry, when I sat here last night.. I thought. I thought about how this is my life. And I am in charge of my own life. I get to choose how it ends."
"Lina, please don't say that," I couldnt bear to think of losing my bestfriend.
"If I ever choose to kill myself, this is where I'll do it."

That was the phrase that changed everything. So she was dating her half-brother? That made so much sense.
Lina had always been sad. There were many reasons for it but in her mind it all lead back to how her parents left her. Harry, on the other hand, had been her best friend since they were 12. He made her happy.
So what's going on now? Is she falling for Harry? Or is she still in love with her brother?

Everything was gone. I sobbed, my clothes ripped and I was bleeding, but it didn't matter. I had to get to her, to them.
