Hey! This is a totally original story (my very first), all the characters are mine and all the worldbuilding is mine! Some of the magic system may end up being inspired by @Dragon_H3art , we'll see. I have no clue if I'll stick to this! Now for the real description!
Calanthe is a wanderer. She flits from place to place, dodging danger by a breath and searching for adventure. Yet, even as she travels, she begins to realize that the past always catches up, and it's only a matter of time before she has nowhere left to run...

"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. I've always been a fan of progression fantasy. However, I do feel disappointed by many of them, with too many characters that vanish into irrelevancy, sometimes arcs that are overly repetitive and a lack of characters ideals. In this story, I aim to instill more character ideals, motivations, and integrate said characters throughout the story, and ensure their interaction with the main character remain relevant to his heart. Perhaps, it's best to say I want the story to have a 'human spirit' that one could feel in old-school wuxia and action/adventure stories.
