This is the journal of Violet Thawnhill, a girl that lived in poverty in an older time. Her life isnt the best and she has to help a lot. But this doesn't make her life miserable, instead she just values what she has and sees the world with a shine of warmth.
But after she meets the mysterious guy called Ian, her heart shows her unexpected things. Feelings she always thought were only for nobles.
Suddenly Ian disappears and with every passing moment and day, her world is getting pulled upside down. Why is this all happening? Where is Ian?
She wrote about this story in her personal journal. And by reading it you might be able to feel with her and experience the journey through her eyes.

"Why do you care?" he asks. But it's not soft. It's sharp, defensive, like he's already bracing for the answer. I want to tell him the truth. Because you saved me. "I think this belongs to me," he says, tone sharp but quiet. No accusation. Just fact. I don't respond. Just watch as he slips it into his pocket, like closing a door I wasn't supposed to open. He looks at me for one long second, jaw clenched. "Go home," he says again, this time like a warning. And this time, I believe him. He crushes the cigarette under his boot, turns his back, and walks down the alley, leaving me standing in the dark. - Lily didn't ask to be assigned to him. "We are very, very old vampires." I drop the dress, and the butler looks up in fear. My movements are as fast as a striking snake, tearing out his throat in such a swift movement there's barely any mess. I look into his eyes as he raises his hands to his neck, falling to the ground in a light thump. I walk back and pick up the lavender dress, admiring my smiling reflection in the mirror as the tragically human butler bleeds out onto the expensive Russian rug. --- Some plot lines and moments of the Originals has been altered for this story.
