Eli is in a more or less happy relationship with her boyfriend Mick but when the new school year starts a new student comes into her class, Aj. AJ is a nice guy and also plays on the school soccer team like Mick so he becomes part of their friend group. Eli and AJ start talking to each other at one of the parties thrown by one of Eli's friends, they notice they have much in common and AJ catches feelings for Eli. Eli values AJ as a great friend but wants to stay loyal to Mick but Mick starts to behave weird when he finds out about the two hanging out which makes this all the more complicated for Eli and her feelings.
