How We Became Rockstars

Matti Fagerholm, my childhood best friend who would soon be known as Michael Monroe, and I, Anne Hämäläinen, felt stifled by Helsinki's limitations and the constant negativity. Stockholm, with its raw energy, was the obvious next step for us. We made a pact and moved together, along with one of Matti's pals, Andy McCoy, seeking out other musicians who shared our rebellious spirit. Packing our instruments and a few sentimental items, we set out for our next, and hopefully successful, adventure.

In the heart of Stockholm, Hanoi Rocks emerged, fueled by Matti's wild charisma and Anne's focused drive, along with Andy's recklessness, and not to mention their soon-to-be band mates who won't be named yet. Their blend of punk grit and glam swagger was ready to take the city by storm. This is the story of how they did it.

(This is not entirely accurate Hanoi Rocks history and some of these characters are fictional)
