Getting my phone snatched by a stranger at the metro station was supposed to be a one-time disaster. Offering him skincare advice off the internet to make him stop crying was supposed to be the end of it.

But Vihaan doesn't do "one-time disasters."

Unfortunately for me...

he decided to become a permanent one.

He talks too much.

Smiles too easily.

Invades my personal space like a hobby.

Drags me wherever he wants.

And somehow...

I let him.

I keep telling myself he's just an annoying stranger with no concept of personal boundaries.

He' convinced we're friends.

He's wrong.

...or at least he was supposed to be.

Instead he's slowly becoming my favourite inconvenience.

And before I realize it...

between stolen phones, chocolate cake, handwritten letters and endless cups of coffee...

he starts becoming my conmfort place.
