The Path of Vengance

The Realm of Etharia, a vast continent which contained members of many races. The Original Three - Men, Elves, and Dwarves - once controlled almost every acre of land before the Great Collapse, and hundreds of years later they attempted to make a comeback. Other races began to rise up, such as the Wildfolk (nature's version of humanoids), the Rockborn (large and intelligent creatures made of stone), and the Herods (large insects that have evolved into sentient beings). Corruption sunk into the minds of those who had power and desired for more, especially Men, and the new civilizations threatened to collapse once more.

On a farm in the land of Men lived the Graysons, a simple family of five. In this family were three brothers: Markus (the oldest), Ash (the second-oldest), and Jarren (the youngest). Their father, a cunning man by the name of Rellin, was in debt with a noble from Grathion, Man's greatest city since the Days of Peace. The noble's name was Lord Dernoc, and was by far the most corrupt man in the realm. He would do whatever he could to rim his pockets with gold... no matter where it came from.

This tells the story from the point of view of Jarren, the youngest and sometimes underestimated hero who uses stealth and clever actions to overcome obstacles and foes. With a strong motivation and a trustworthy blade, he ventures into the world beyond in search of revenge for a deeply personal murder.
