There's a new kid in school. She goes by Brianna, although everyone calls her Freak Girl. Why is she bullied like this? Well, the shy little Brianna is blind in one of her eyes. She can only see through one side of her. She doesn't really talk much, and always hides from everyone. Until she met me, Jaiden Smith. She's a really nice girl, but now we both get made fun of. I have two different colored eyes and it's really rare. My left eye is blue, while my right eye is red. Me and Brianna aren't that different after all.

Hi I'm Isla the ugly, poor and scarred girl who lives in the woods with her grandmother. Life has never being fair to me and I know it won't be fair to me anytime soon because while I live in a place with people of such great and unscarred beauty, I'm the only anomaly. The only one with the burnt face. And I have accepted it. Now I'm going to high school and things are about to be worse for me because while elementary school students ignore you and your ugliness, high school students taunt you with it. And when the prince of your city shows you mercy, everyone treats you worse than they had before. What happens then when all of a sudden, my life changes for the better and I realize just how empty the lives of the beautiful ones truly is. This book is currently being edited and rewritten.
