Synopsis:
Peter Parker, a Parisian born and raised, lives with his beloved Aunt May and Uncle Ben in their apartment above a modest bookstore. His closest friend since childhood has been Chloé Bourgeois, whose sharp personality hides the softer bond the two share. During a class trip to Oscorp Labs, Peter's fate changes forever when a genetically altered spider bites him, awakening powers that will shape his destiny.
The spider-bite gifts Peter with extraordinary abilities: superhuman strength, agility, and stamina; reflexes fast enough to react before thought; the ability to cling to walls; and heightened senses beyond human perception. His most unique power is his Spider-Sense, a near-precognitive warning system that alerts him to danger before it strikes. Unlike others in Paris who wield powers rooted in magic, Peter's gifts are purely scientific, including organic webbing produced naturally from his wrists.
Paris soon becomes home to not only magical threats but also a rogues' gallery of scientific adversaries like Shocker, Vulture, and Rhino. As Spider-Man, Peter protects the city with a balance of compassion and determination, though he can be unrelenting when injustice endangers those he loves. Guided by Uncle Ben's living wisdom-forever echoing the lesson that "with great power comes great responsibility"-Peter grows into a symbol of hope.
Meanwhile, Marinette Agreste carries the mantle of Ladybug, and Adrien Dupain-Cheng bears the ring of Cat Noir. Together, they safeguard Paris from Hawkmoth's magical manipulations, born from the Butterfly Miraculous's ability to transform human grief into supervillains. Bound by secrecy, Ladybug and Cat Noir do not know each other's true selves, nor do they trust Spider-Man when he first swings onto the scene. His unfamiliar scientific powers raise doubts, but necessity drives the trio into an alliance.
Spider-Man's appearances, sparking debate among Parisians over which hero stands as the city's true protector.
