You meet Martin Rossiter at a gig you weren't supposed to be at. He's signing someone's vinyl when your camera strap catches his eye. He pauses, pen still hovering, and asks-
You're not. Not officially. But he signs your notebook anyway, then leans in and says, "You can get close. Just you."
From that moment, you're allowed to film him. Allowed to shoot him in monochrome. Allowed to see him unravel backstage, in letters, in silence. He calls you Saint, Archivist, God's Favourite.
