I left, He ran away from me, the one guy that liked the kind of music I did. That one person who didn't just glance my way, but stopped and smiled and sometimes waved. The one who fit the perfect man profile they have you make in middle school at girl sleep overs.
He told me that he was leaving to go to college, then asked me to be his girlfriend.
I was afraid and said no
Now who would have thought that he was signing a record deal, right after college, and his first album would be a number one hit.
I didn't, and I didn't think the album would be named after me, or that he still remembered me.
The album is called, "Bring me Ella". I always loved to joke that he would be the one to run away from me, but I ended up running away from him. I guess that's why there's a picture of a shoe on the front cover, just like Cinderella......
But this Cinderella, wasn't going to give up her shoe that fast.
