Ava and her best friend Chloe are high school sophomores. Ava's boyfriend Justin just broke up with her, but it left them both thinking "why?" Justin wanted a fresh start OUT OF HOLLYWOOD, so he moved back to LA. Or so Ava thinks. The school year is almost over, and the girls can't wait to get to their families' shared beach house in San Diego. Chloe has a new boyfriend named Marcus, and Ava has the best friend ever. She just won her last soccer game of the season for her team, and is guaranteed a varsity spot on the school team next year!  To them, this summer has the potential to be the BEST SUMMER EVER.
